Description: Newer lawyers in Minnesota are invited to attend the second annual “No Judgment” continuing legal education (CLE) event hosted by the Newer Lawyers Committee of the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Participants will have the opportunity to present oral argument on a fictional (i.e. non-legal) debate to either Judge Menendez, Judge Brasel, or Judge Cowan Wright. For example, the participants last year argued that peanut butter is a solid that can pass through TSA, that Pop-Tarts are a type of ravioli, and that many of what Minnesotans refer to as “cabins” are properly called “lake houses.” The purpose of this event is to allow newer lawyers to have the opportunity to hone their…
